Just a few words to warn others about buying a motorhome from http://www.motorhomesltd.com/ (Hull)
Brought our New Elddis Autoquest 155 from them Nov 2013. First trip out to Spain the toilet door broke. I expected a few issues but trying to get this fixed via this company was beyond a joke. Constantly chasing them for updates, never answering the phone.
I have sent so many emails i have lost count. They wired the reverse camera's the wrong way round. The bike rack that was fitted has a line where they haev marked it out to fit but it has gone through the paint. This company is quick to take your money but
after sales is just non existent. I finally got the van back in March 2014 (3 months after the intial fault around the door). The van then developed another fault to do with the cupboards peeling. A simple replacement cupboard door would of solved the issue.
This has now been going on since August 2014 and to this day it still has not been resolved. The company seems to of now changed their domain name as emails are bouncing back. I have their new domain details but still nothing. I now cannot be bothered to keep
chasing them. The van will be sold as it has caused nothing but issues which is down to this company making even the simplest of tasks an absolute nightmare.
I am sure there are many others out there that are just as bad. If no one complains about them how are they ever going to change as they just should not be allowed to get away with treating customers like this. Elddis Customer services although did answer
the phone were very unhelpful just quoting that i need to speak to the place i brought it from. hard to do when they never return your call. No more Elddis for me either.
This may help others by warning them of the potential issues of buying from a dealer that is not local (6 hours from me). My next purchase will be much more local, hard lesson learnt.
