OK, right, following on from my recent enquiries regarding car to caravan match.......we presumed we had, at last found a suitable match when we settled on a 2013 Honda CRV 2.2 CDTi SR to tow our newly purchased 2011 Bailey Pegasus Milan (4 berth).......but apparently not. When we checked on the clubs comparison tool, we find that the combo exceeds the kerbweight ratio at a staggering 91%. How on earth can a mini monster like the Honda not be a safe and sensible match ??? I know that the statistics are only a guideline........and that some say that they are actually outdated......and that they relate to the ability of the combo to tackle a 12% gradient etc etc, BUT if all the above apply, then can we actually consider ourselves to be driving a safe combo ?  Come on, we are begining to wish we had never bothered. Can anyone throw any good karma our way, to at least try and convince us that this figure of 91% isnt actually as bad as we are telling ourselves it is ??????
