Liber-t tag

I have purchased a new tow car, a Volvo V70. I have a libert-t tag but there is no mottled - shaded area behind the rear view mirror, only a black box housing sensors.

Reading the SANF -UK website, they state that customers with this problem have placed the tag on the back of the black box and it has worked.

Wondered if anyone here has tried this and it has been successful. Or maybe any other ideas where to best place the tag.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I Travel through france to italy and use the sanef tag in my audi a6 avant 2015, there is no shaded area so i placed it close by and its worked perfect. i rented a tag to use in italy last time i was over there and because the sanef one was occupying the
obvious place i just stuck it close by and it worked great. as log as they are not obstructed i think they work fine.

It works fine stuck on the black box in my XC60 - You'll have no problems.

One thing to note -  I occassionally had a problem with my previous car where the tag was stuck on the shaded area of the windscreen - just unclip it from the bracket and wave it out of the drivers window at the camera - worked every time!
