Ever towed from the Claonaig ferry to Carradale?

Am looking at the quickest route to Carradale Bay & thinking of Ardrossan to Arran by ferry then ferry Arran to   Kintyre which lands at Claonaig. The directions to Carradale take you the long way round (obviously wider roads) but I've towed on a fair few
single track roads with passing places in the Highlands & am wondering just how narrow and/or winding this particular road is.
