Pegs for Club Hard standings

In all our years caravanning we have never erected an awning on any CLUB  hard standing, can fellow members advise "what is the best type of PEG for this, I feel a bit stupid asking this as we have only erected in the UK on Grass and only a few times as
we spend 3 to 4 months in Europe where they dont have chippings the size of Golf Balls !!.
