Here in Wales Tesco are running a test market on their fuel, it works like this - -

When you spend £50 in store you receive 2p per litre by using either your Club or Credit Card, another 2p per ltre is added for every £50 that you spend in store, you can save each 2p to a maximum of 20p per litre and is credited to the end of the following
month when you have to spend it OR lose it.

Today, I filled up the Limo and had a reduction of 12p per litre, worth having don't you think.

If the test is successful Tesco will then consider rolling it out to all stores, the test is on until the end of June or July I think. So when you are in Wales fill up at Tesco and use your Club or Credit Card and save a good few Bob
