Outdoor Clay Oven

A few years ago whilst touring northern Spain we stopped at a camp site in the Picos. It had all the  basic facilities plus a communal bbq area. Alongside the traditional brick built grill type BBQs was an outdoor clay oven which I was told was built very cheaply by the owner from local and recycled materials. Since then I have often thought about building one. Has anyone done so or used one?
