Kampa 390 pro

We bought a kampa 390 pro in April 2010, it has served us well, but we have had a problem with the bottom tags and the vertical tags which have all perished, we always try and put it away dry so cannot understand why this has happened. We contacted kampa
to ask their advise but they were not helpful. We would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem with this type of awning.
