Rear Mounted Bike rack for Land rover Discovery 4

Hi,

Does anyone know of  a rear mountable bike rack that would be suitable for my car. I cannot use a tow ball mounted rack as it is detachable one & i have been advised that this type would not be suitable. Our bikes do not have a crossbar but I can purchase
an adaptor that  would be suitable as a crossbar. I do not want to use a roof rack type as the bikes are heavy to lift and i am in my early 60's.

Any help/advice would be very welcome.
