SAAB 9-5 or 9-3X DIESEL ESTATE?

Anyone tow with one of these? Looking at a 1.9 TiD manual, some reports suggest the 9-5's are a bit twitchy at speed but the 9-3 is a bit light so looking at the 'X' version which is the heaviest 9-3 available.
