Electric Awnings

Being "knee high to a grasshopper" (barely 5 ft) I am considering an electric awning for my motorhome.  I find winding out this huge roof quite daunting.  Does anyone have experience of one and could offer advice?  I have been in touch with Rose Awnings
in Dorset who say that they should have legs to reduce the strain on the vehicle.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Fiamma produce an electric box that fits to their F45 wind out canopy, like all canopies it is necessary to use the legs to support once more than 1m out. There are probably many more  options, but I looked at this to add to my Fiamma Zip on the caravan.
