Does anyone have any comments on sites in the Aberdeen or Stirling areas?  I plan to get there this year.  Travelling alone I do not want to spend £20 a night.  Fine for couples but expensive for singles as the fuel will be a big part of the expense.

    There are plenty of sites in Aberdeenshire. The nearest site to Aberdeen city is probably Stonehaven.  It has a good, regelar bus service to the city.  Silverbank in Banchory has also a frequent bus link to the city.

    For Stirling, look at 'The Woods'.

    Burnside caravan site is a nice small private site near Stirling that we used several years ago. 

    If Banchory is close enough to Aberdeen for your needs then we can highly recommend Greenpark CL site. We used this site a couple of years back and it was exceptional value for money considering its fully serviced pitches and has a toilet/shower block.
