Thank You Karen!
At the beginning of this year, a friend of ours from the Bristol area, was woken up in the early hours of the morning by a neighbour hammering on her window to tell her that her motorhome was on fire on the drive. There followed weeks of trauma for her,
dealing with the insurance, listing everything lost etc. The motorhome was written off and amongst many of the items of sentimental value lost in the fire were the site badges collected by my friend and her late partner over a 30 year membership of the Club.
She was devastated. I suggested that she wrote to the Club to ask if there was any way that the badges could be replaced, which she did. This morning, she received a package through the post from Karen Conway, the Operations Manager, with a replacement
badge for every one lost, free of charge. So, Thank you Karen on behalf of my friend.....you have made her day!
Mods, could you please leave this in the General Chat section for a while so that everyone can see it. We are all quick to knock the Club so it is nice to give praise when due too!
