£10k 1700kg + towcar suggestions?

Having bought  a 2009 Freelander 2 diesel earlier this year I find it a bit a) basic (it's an 'S' poverty spec) and b) terribly uncomfortable drivers seat. It tows our 2010 Eccles Moonstone fine and had a good trip down to austria from where I post this.
However my mind is wandering to sourcng something with a bit more spec and perhaps better economy with less overtly 'off road' credentials. My thoughts are wandering towards Audi allroad but would be inteerested to hear other thoughts.
