What's the daftest place you've taken your caravan

Seeing mention of Sutton Bank on another thread jogged my memory. Back in the 1970s when we were young and naive, we were on holiday in Yorkshire and, not having a clue about the area, found ourselves about to tow the van up Sutton Bank! We thought it
couldn't be any worse than some of the hills in Devon & Cornwall and, as it would be miles to make a detour, decided to just go for it. (I must point out at this stage that way back then there was no ban in force.) We thought it was a bit odd that we were
overtaken by a police car on the approach to the hill and that the police officer had a good look at our car. Turns out he must have been checking that it was a bit bigger than a Reliant Robin rather than admiring the paintwork. The outcome was that the
car (Rover 3.5) towed the van up the Bank with no trouble at all. I think we might have had to slow down a bit for a sharp bend part way up. It was quite an uneventful climb - just a bit stupid!
Anybody else taken their van, motorhome or whatever to somewhere that was not totally sensible?
