Do you think it would be useful if the Club contacted major supermarket chains to find out their company policy on large vehicles and car/trailer combinations using their customer parking areas for short periods where space and access permits?  I mean this
to carry the proviso that the time be used for shopping in store and not for use of the car park
as a rest area.  I am not asking for special treatment for anyone but mean vehicles used for any purpose rather than just members on holiday.

The resulting information could be included in the site information leaflets, and/or displayed on site notice boards.

The companies’ responses could affect the shopping habits of some CC members and be of benefit to the supermarkets.  I think many members would find it helpful and, after all, isn’t helping members one reason that clubs exist?  If enough people comment favourably
there might be a chance of the Club Management taking some notice and reacting.  I shall ask the C&CC if they will consider doing the same thing.
