ban of awnings at OLD HARTLEY

I have been going to Old Hartley for the past few years and have never had a problem with pitching my awning.I cannot understand the mentality of the  person who initiated this ban. The site is small agreed but with a bit of rearranging there could be at least 27 awningpitches all with the required 6m spacing .This site is very popular and a lot of members will not be pleased by the decision taken by neil windeatt head of operations .I have been a serving fire officer for 27 years and IN MY OPINION THIS IS HEALTH AND SAFETY gone mad along with allthose HORRIBLE PEA GREEN SIGNSFoot in Mouth
