When will the spell checker be fixed? Ever?

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of a working spell checker on this forum.

My spelling is very good but typos are easy to make. That is not a problem on a forum using software that works correctly, as the mis-spelt word is highlighted and easily corrected, but typos are easy to miss when the spell checker does not work as on CT.

Is the spell checker ever going to be implemented correctly?
