Unsteady towing experience

We're currently on site having travelled from Derbyshire to Somerset last Saturday.  We've had a couple of wobbles on previous journeys but last Saturday had quite a fright as when overtaking a horse box on the M5 we started snaking.  We never exceed 60
MPH on motorways.  We slowed down and in doing so were able to control the situation but it was quite frightening.  The caravan (a Lunar 540 2013 model) has just been serviced and we did ask them to look at the stabliser to make sure all was ok.  We
also experience quite a bit of noise from the stabiliser, in fact when we get to site we raise the stabliliser as the noise is an embarrassment when driving around the site.  We did wonder if it was working as it should, t
he dealer has said the stabiliser
is fine.

We tow with a 2012 Honda CRV 2.2 D.  On paper the outfit is perfect.  But we experience quite a bit more movement than we did with our 2006 CRV towing our Avondale Osprey and for 6 months our new Lunar.  And yet on paper the outfit wasn't as good a match
as our current one.

We've tried loading in different ways to try and move the weight around and also to make the car either lighter or heavier.  No-one else seems to have this problem with movement when on motorways.  In fact one fellow caravaner told us that the new stabilisers
made towing as "safe as houses". It certainly doesn't feel like that to us.

Any advice welcome.
