indicator light failure

Hi ,i am having some difficulty in resolving a problem with my Abbey Spectrum which the rear indicator O/S has stopped working. Having changed the bulb and fuse twice, renewed the 12n socket and the plug, i am at my. wits end. All the bulb contacts in the
lampholder have been cleaned but still nothing. Anyone out there have any ideas would be very appreciated.
