Thetford cassette C4 removal

Hi ... now that we have some decent wetaher I want to investigate why our toilet started leaking last year. 

I'm trying to find how to remove the entire toilet so that I can thoroughly inspect, replace and reseal as needed but can't find (at present though still searching) any removal instructions.

Has anyone done this before and if so can you guide me or direct me at a link please? I have checked the Thetford site and have the maintenance manual but that doesn't describe/show how to get it out.
