order of forum posts

Is there a way to see the latest post when I join a thread,

I always seem to go to the first post, which can be quite old, so i have to click forward to the latest post.

Other forums usually go to the latest post automaticaly, if there is a setting to do this, please can someone advise, if not, can the admin consider changing this?
