Remove Sprite Major 6 Kitchen skylight for clean?

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the best way to clean my kitchen skylight?

I have cleaned the outside of the van and the inside Windows however the kitchen skylight seems to have a lot of dust and dirt. I tried cleaning from the roof, however it seems the skylight has 2 tiers and I can't get to the outside of the middle tier.

    I actually go to the trouble of unscrewing the 'lid' and soaking it in a bowl.
