Isabella Storm Straps - Cheaper alternative
Having just bought a new (to me) Ventura (Isabella without the portholes) awning I was looking into new storm straps. I have been looking at the Isabella storm straps that can be fixed inside the frame but the cheapest I could find was through leisureshopdirect at £15.10 each which I think is extortionate.
I was pleased to find Fasty Storm straps which look identical for £7.50 each through the roof box company. Interestingly, Fasty strap can print a company logo on the strap which I think Isabella has done and then charged twice the price.These don't come with the large securing pegs but I already have some of these.
I don't like the ones that go over the top of the awning as they tend to rub the canvas, look ugly and vibrate in the wind.
I hope this helps anyone else looking at new storm straps for the summer.
