New Seat Alhambra/VW Sharan as a Towcar?

I am looking at buying the new Alhambra as a replacement Towcar for my VW Passat. It is a better spec and cheaper than the identical VW Sharan. Can any owners give comments on it as a Towcar as I haven't found any towing reviews yet. 

I tow a 2004 Abbey Aventura with a MTPLM of 1500kg. It is very rarely fully laden as the unladen weight is 1190kg.
