CL sites close to M6 cumbria

We are travelling from Oxford to get the boat at cairnryan and we are looking an over night stop over as close to the m6 cumbria as possible. We are aware of westmoreland at tebay. As we are new to camping is it ok to acknowledge replies or is this just
wasting time and space.
