Awning strip

I collect my T5 Camper van in a fortnight and wondered if anyone could advise the best option for an awning strip as I understand one can
have a standard one or magnetic. Once i have this I can start searching for an east to erect drive away awning that doesn't look like a tend and has removable sides or windows.
