New Year's Eve

Hi everyone. For the last 3 years we have gone to Hoborne Bashley in the New Forest for a New Years functions, and very good it has been. Smart casual dress code, 5 course meal, good entertainment etc. Would recommend it to any one looking for a do.  We
have been trying though to find somewhere for a change but not coming up with much. Does anyone know of a similar function within say 2 hours drive of Southampton (we live on the Isle of Wight!). Would appreciate any views from you. Best wishes Steve and Carol White
