Satellite cables - type and length

Just about to embark on the satellite TV route and have a couple of questions about cables.

Firstly it seems that the WF100 cables are the best from a signal-loss point of view but how do they measure up in terms of flexibillity? The only satellite cables I have seen appear to be pretty stiff. A friend of mine has recommended RG59 - is this more flexible?

The other question concerns length. I'm told that 10m should be long enough for 90% of the time - but what about the other 10%? Should I get 15m and, if so, is it worth splitting it into two - a 10m and an extr 5m for when it is needed. Does the extra join create more signal loss problems?

I will almost certainly have a short length of cable from the TV to a plat cable going through the window as my van doesn't have satellite wired in as standard.

All thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
