My motorhome's a towcar

Hi folks - my first posting in the hope of some definitive answers.

I'm currently contemplating the purchase of a small caravan to tow behind my motorhome and use as a granny anexe to take my 80+ year old Mum away on a few trips or sleeping quarters for the grandchildren.

Before I commit to buying, I thought I'd check out how this might be viewed by the Caravan Club eg positioning of the two units on one pitch, connecting both units to one hookup etc

So does anybody out there already do this and what else should I be considering?
