Car Insurance with CC

I was just wondering if anyone has used the CC club for vehicle insurance. We use the breakdown service through them but have found the car quotes as much as £70 dearer even though they have been £25 cheaper than the previous renewal quote. Are they offering
value for money. Not sure what do do yet but have a couple of weeks to decide so just seeing if anyone does actually use it?
