Spark igniter

The spark igniter on my Spinflow oven has become very erratic, i.e. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I am thinking of changing the rocker switch on the control panel and wondered if anyone has come across this problem and have changed the switch.
Would I need to remove the oven?

    Have you checked the gap between the ingniter electrode, it may have been knocked and the gap too big. It needs to earth itself out on the body of the oven burner. I'm no expert just trying to be helpful. Good lick.

    Our caravan dealer's workshop manager said that the oven has to be removed to fix the igniter which is a daft design. May vary with different models of course.
