We just have just spent an excellent weekend at the Bentham rally with the Yorkshire Dales Centre, it was only our second rally and we booked it just to get the van out for a bit of an airing and really enjoyed it, the weather was beautiful (raining and
miserable on the Friday night when setting up but hey ho!) then Saturday morning the sun came out and we went on the organised walk which, although a bit muddy was a great way to meet others of a similar mind. Evening meal was organised in a local pub which
unfortunately we couldn't attend as we had arranged to meet friends, they all had a great time apparently, so we missed out there I'm afraid. Sunday morning was another glorious day, albeit rather chilly, then after flag we headed home happy and content. So,
many thanks to George and Irene for making us so welcome and to the new friends we have made.  If you have never been on a rally then give it a try, it's a cheap and really enjoyable way to spend a weekend, meet new friends and see somewhere new!
