Caravan covers and solar panels

I have had a solar panel fitted to the roof of my caravan this season and as I usually cover it up for the winter I was wondering if anyone has had a cover modified to accommodate a clear panel so that the solar panel will still trickle charge over the winter.
Any recommendations would be most helpful.
