Towing Novice

We have caravanned for 11 years. My husband has always driven our outfit when hitched up. I feel I should know how to do it too but wonder if I should try as it is a twin axle- and I am in my 60's. I am a competent solo driver of many years. Has anyone else
started late and with a twin axle.
