We are quite new to caravaning, having just done our first season and have loved every minute. A question that is on my mind is regarding leveling the caravan along it's width, lengthwise is a doddle but I have tried with ramps to level crosswise and you
always seem to high or too low, have tried jacking up the low side to its desired height to level under the chassis (keeping safe for self and van obviously) and then placing suitable stands under the chassis of the caravan to support the weight safely. Question
is is this acceptable in respect of the caravans suspension as it will be off load on that side for up to a couple of weeks. Safety is paramount in this obviously and corner steadys are used for their intended use only and no unde stress put on them on either
raising or lowering. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
