Alderstead Heath over New Year

Just wondering if anyone has visited Alderstead Heath over the New Year Period.  We are looking for a site with  good facililies for this year with a Pub that is a walkable distance in case we want a tipple on New Years Eve.  

Any advice on other sites in the that area will also be good and anyone else visiting that site themselves during the festive period
