Using Isabella full awning as a part awning.

We have recently replaced our van and, of course, our Isabella awning is now too small - by more than the recommended amount for enlarging. Isabella supply the parts to convert a full awning to a part awning and has a video on youtube showing this. It looks
to be a good option. Has anyone any experience of this?
