Woodpeckers at Abbey Wood

We have been here7 days now and hear the Woodpeckers every morning, waking us up, and today I finally saw one just now. When I returned with my camera it had gone again. Hopefully I shall manage to photograph one before we leave.

There are all three varieties of Woodpecker in the Lenses Wood that borders the campsite, on Monday I got a great photo of a Parakeet.
