What triggers changing your MH or caravan?

I've just been going through the process of looking into changing our MH, which is now 8 years old, but still going strong.
It was the prospect of stepping up a bit in space and luxury without spending too much more money which triggered it for us - and as it happened we ended up deciding that there was nothing available which was attractive enough to do the trick.
What triggers you into looking around?
