Beware of Lendal Bridge in York, restricted times

If you are visiting York then you need to be aware that the Council have put in place restricted access to cross Lendal Bridge from 1030 to 1700 each day. Do so and you may receive a £60 fine in the post. The signs are very poor and misleading in some cases
and only are of real help to those locals who know which is Lendal Bridge and if they will be crossing it. It is actually a part of the inner ring road would you believe, near the train station. Regards, Roy
