All Club sites full at Easter near Sheffield
I am only posting this out of interest, I am certainly not complaining, but having followed other regular posts about the inability to book a pitch at popular sites this surprised me and I thought I would share it with you all.
I was looking to see if I could get a pitch on a Club site for any one of the nights at the Easter weekend within easy striking distance of Sheffield so we could meet up with our son who will be staying there at that time. (saves a trip to London) We
have no car but he may well be able to get access to us and we have our bikes. I looked at Poolsbrook but all was fully booked. I then checked Castleton and the same and finally Chatsworth, which I expected to be booked from reading posts on here. Yes it was
also fully booked.
I know it is a peak holiday time but it did surprise me as almost all the comments on CT only refer to places like Bristol, Chatsworth, Rowntree Park etc, where people have difficulty. We shall probably drive there in the car and not stay unless there
is a late availability.
