..New Baileys
Popped into our local dealership at the weekend (thinking about changing vans again !), he knows us well but still had a quick try to convince us to look at a new one. When I gave him my standard spiel about never having a brand new van because everyone
I know who has sends them back, and back...I always prefer a few years old so you don't get the massive depreciation and hopefully all the faults out of the factory are fixed, blah, blah. He took us out to the brand new Bailey he had on the front and showed
us the big mistake someone has made this year !
Pretty lights in the grab handles at the front of the van, very nice. BUT, the plastic trim they sit in can just be pulled out (he did) no tools required, and behind - a hole, for the wire to go straight through into the van. As he pointed out moisture
can also go in here and it then goes down and rots the floor of the van right were the front steady goes !!!! Absolutely dreadful, he already has a few going straight back to Bailey. I'm so glad we have a good relationship with our dealer, even though we don't
always buy our vans from him.
