Electrolux RM 4270 model problem with cooling
Just back from a rally and had problems with the fridge. It was working at home on the mains prior to leaving; worked on 12 volts whilst towing; lit first time on the gas on site, but over the next few hours it cooled down and the icebox defrosted. It
didn't stop working altogether, the temperature inside the fridge compartment worked a bit like a cool box with icepacks (if you know what I mean), so the food didn't go off. Coming home today, it didn't cool down on the 12 volt and now at home, it is not
cooling down on the mains. Looking on the internet for advice, we have seen several comments about turning the fridge upside down, leaving for a few hours, rerighting it and it will work. Anyone on this forum had experience of this, or any other suggestions
on what the problem may be caused by? .
