Dual mass fly wheel

Hi I tow my Cosmos 564 with my remapped VW jetta it tows really well but on occaisions when towing say on a motorway at about 55 -60 mph and I go to accelerate a little if approaching a slight up hill section I get a bit of a shudder. I am told that this is due to the dual mass flywheel which is now fitted to most diesel cars.Has anyone else experienced this problem
