Football on sites

Just returned from a good week at englethwaite hall,the only problem i could see is that children  playing football on the centre green behind caravans,was not sure if it was allowed till i got back and checked the rules,which states no ball games aloud due to the damage it could do to a caravan,why can the sights not put up a sign to state this on the greens,have no problem with chidren, but who pays for any damage, the club insurance or the parents,buy the way this was three days running,full view from the office which made me think it was aloud on sight.
