Hello,

My parent's have sold their motorhome due to old age and ill health. So I have bought a larger caravan so that they can come with me when I go away. Do I need to change my membership?

Thank you.

It depends on whether you are a familly or full member?if full then no, as your parents as long as you are all together on site are part of your party

If you are a family member then you need to become a full member as a familly member should reside with the full member

JVB,  I think you are confusing matters. As long as when she goes away with her parents in the caravan someone  is a member, then everything is hunky dory

If you wish to be pedantic,  if she is not a Full member then size of caravan or parents attending would be totally irrelevant

If you leave your parents to use the van on a site in your absence, I think they ought to be members.

Where did she mention leaving her parents in charge?, I don't think nipping to the supermarket counts!

I hope that’s not what my comment suggested. I did say “If” but omitted to specify a duration.

I had assumed that it would be the parents who did the shopping, if there was any to be done. Isn’t that what parents are for? Wink

I have contacted the club regarding my situation and have been told that my dad can be a joint member and mum will be a family member. Hope this info is useful to anyone. Thanks.
