just recently I tried to book a CL which on the club website showed both a telephone number and an e mail address.  I emailed the CL and after a number of days they came back to me and said they only took phone bookings and were  now full even though they
had availability when they received my mail.  Why give an email address if they will only accept telephone bookings.  Wonder how much business they have lost?

    Guess you won't be trying to book that CL in the future. BTW which one was it so that we know about them not accepting e-mail bookings.

    Cheers, will give it a miss anyway, as we don't use pub CLs.

    When will you be off next? We've just arrived at Burnham Wick.

    Going to Steyning in Sussex on Friday for a long weekend, back home Tuesday then off to Shropshire for a Regimental reunion.
