Booking cancellation

As we all know, if anyone is unfortunate enough to have to cancell a booking we have to give 72 hours notice or we will get a black mark. Do it 3 times and all your bookings are cancelled.  Does this work in the other direction?  I mean if the club does
not give you 72 hours notice of cancelling your booking for whatever reason, should they give you a couple of nights free in your next booking as a gesture of good will.
