Hose for waterhog/aquaroll

Having recently used a fully serviced pitch for the first time, the blue hose we used which came with the caravan when we bought it, gave the water a tangy plastic taste. It is the hose that rolls flat onto a reel. Any suggestions for a hose that doesn't
make the water taste    tangy or do they all do this?? Thanks.
